Our Society
The Comox Valley Recovery Centre is a non-profit, charitable society incorporated in 1976 under the Societies Act of British Columbia. Society members, all volunteers, are predominantly from the Comox Valley, but also from other Island communities. The Society is governed by a 12 member Board of Directors which meets monthly. Daily operation of CVRC is under the direction of its administrator. Any member of the public with a desire to participate in the work of the CVRC Society will be welcomed. Please call (250) 338-7144. Client Cottages![]() We at the Comox Valley Recovery Centre have created a homey atmosphere with modern, condo-like units in a non-institutional setting. Bedrooms are bright, modern, and well-appointed, providing clean, comfortable sleeping quarters. Each condo unit provides accommodation for four clients, with two in each room. Dining Area![]() The CVRC dining room is contemporary in design, and light, airy and spacious in ambience. Home-cooked meals are prepared by excellent cooks in the spotless, state-of-the-art kitchen. Meals are designed to meet client nutritional needs and to provide variety in taste. Recreation Hall![]() While participating in CVRC's supportive recovery program, clients have use of our recreational facility. This facility has a nicely furnished lounge area, a big-screen TV and a shuffleboard. The programs' group sessions and meetings are held in the Recreation Hall. |
