The Comox Valley Recovery Centre is a non-profit, charitable society incorporated in 1976 under the Societies Act of British Columbia. Society members—all volunteer—are predominantly from the Comox Valley, but also from other Island communities. The Society is governed by a 12 member Board of Directors which meets bi-monthly. Daily operation of CVRC is under the direction of its Administrator.
The Presidents Club
The Recovery Centre founded a Presidents Club in 2014. Members of the Club donate a minimum of $300.00 per year and in return receive a taxable donation receipt and a summer evening dinner prepared by the chefs of CVRC. Annual membership is from one annual dinner (usually in July) to the next annual dinner. For more details or to make your donation contact the Administrator at CVRC.
Our aims are to assist in the recovery and rehabilitation of chemically dependant men so they might return to a useful life in society. And to help CVRC residents through a supportive recovery program to attain life skills which will lead them to a healthier future.
The Centre is staffed 24 hrs per day by our dedicated team. The staff at CVRC endeavour to support clients with their own client entered recovery goals. Our aim is to support the client through the 28, 42, 60, or 90 day program and assist with daily recovery practices.
